On the day of the Rugby League final in Australia, an award-winning hotel served one of their customers ice-cream with smeared faeces on it. The Whyte family was staying at a Coogee hotel when the father of 3, Steve Whyte got into an argument with the staff. When they were served the dessert, they became only aware after "the horrible smell that emerged from it". His wife threw up seconds after. Whyte later took a sample of the ice-cream and found it had faeces in it".
If his statement is true, the hotel could be fined up to $1,000,000.
